Franart

The original file name was 'Franservice'.

This turned out a lot better than my other attempts at drawing animu because Fran's eyes actually have lines all the way around, not just upper eyelashes and a dash for the lower eyelid. They're also very square. Far more square in the comics that what I've drawn here. And they actually have tear ducts. Kigitsu draws these tiny little hooks at the end of the line making up the inside edge of the eye. This makes them both detailed and easy to copy so I like them. Moving on.

For the pose I basically just scribbled a blocky stick figure and gave it a coat. I gave up on the hand because the fingers were awful and drew it turned the other way just to get rid of them. Other than that I'm quite happy with how it turned out; for once my rough linework was pretty much spot on so very little had to be changed for the proper linework.

Sadly my new computer has a different aspect ratio to my tablet, so the final lineart had to be made by drawing lots of very tiny lines since any long lines would end up twisted. This file is 60% the original size to cut down on the jaggedness. Normally I only shrink scanned images (the Kuma MkII picture is around a fifth of the size of the scanned raw, yeah I scan HUEG) but in this case it was really needed.

Finally, I used the inside cover for volume 5 as a reference. That stitch pattern is 100% canon.
